Location Crusade: The Thaxton Speakeasy

Today on a scout-out for an October wedding, I ventured to The Thaxton speakeasy to scope areas where family portraits could take place. If you're a vintage minded couple who thinks art deco, cool lighting, and speakeasy atmospheres are rad, you should check this place out for a wedding venue. Or it could simply be a unique backdrop for an engagement or senior portrait shoot.

Main entryway, looking back at the entrance.
The walls are lined with cool lighting and art deco!

Speakeasy bar.

Arched windows next door to the entrance.

Emo alley in back.
If you can stand the dumpster smell for a few minutes, emo alley shots rock.

Oozy brick parking lot wall.
Perfect for grooms to lean against to "consider" their brides.

See more at The Thaxton's website.
The place looks jazzier when they have it done up for an event!
