Pinup Photography

Ever thought it'd be fun to be a pinup girl for a session? Me too! That's why I posed for my own sitting, just to show you how much fun you can have too. Self portraiture is quite a challenge! But as I am my most convenient model, I figured, what the hey. Cheap labor, ha. And technically I am still behind the camera, even if I'm in front of it.

Okay so there is an ulterior motive behind these portraits. This fantastic green dress is the Amanda Dress, custom made for me by my talented twin sister, the lovely Melissa Meek. She designs custom clothing (as well as wedding invitations), and she requests that her clients send her a fun photo of them wearing her clothing products. She posts them on her site, www.onelittlem.com. Take your pick, Miss.

This is my natural hair color by the way;
the image was desaturated, except my hair.

This is my "Hey boys!" pose. Beth
knows what I mean. Shoulder action!

The pinup style could also rock for some unique senior portraits, or engagement portraits, or even a solo bridal shoot. I always thought it'd be novel to create your own pinup calendar for a unique intimate gift "for him". A swanky noir pose for every calendar month of the year! Wouldn't that just be the berries!
