Take a moment to visit yourself the day after your wedding. How will you feel? Light and relieved that the big day is done, that your stress and preparations are out of the way, that you get to take it free and easy with your spouse for a few days? Or that you kinda want to do it all over again? ... But without the stress?If your answer to either or both of these questions is "Yes!", consider the novel idea of doing a day-after wedding shoot.
Perhaps your wedding day schedule won't allow you enough time to do those vogue-ish chic poses in fun locales with your groom like you saw in the bridal magazines. Perhaps there is someplace fun you want to run off to, but your bridal party is too extensive to haul them all there, or you just won't have the time on your wedding day. Perhaps you just want to have one more day in that bridal gown you're spending 10 months waiting for, getting it altered and cleaned... and post-wedding it'll just be waiting to be sealed up in its little hermetic casket. (Yeah you know you just want to wear the dress again).
Our wedding packages include an engagement session, but this shoot really can turn into any sort of photography session you want, and you can really do it any time you want to as well. You even have the choice of doing that session before or after your wedding.
Consider a day-after photo shoot. You and your hubby can dress up in your bridal attire once again and go romp off somewhere fun without having to worry about managing your bridal party, or being back to the reception on time (keeping "hungry people" waiting, forbid!). The day after your wedding, your nerves are much calmer, you're still on that blissful wedding day buzz, and you pretty much have no time constraints. This would be a fantastic idea if you are not planning a honeymoon, or if your honeymoon plans will not be directly following your wedding day, or if you foresee that you will just be too busy with wedding preparations to do the engagement session at all before the big day arrives.
What the hey, you don't have to wear your gown only once! Put it on again the next day and run barefoot through a forest or sit in an ice cream shop sharing a malt with your groom. You know you want to.

This is a fantastic idea! One of the biggest stressors of your wedding is that you only have the one day to get everything right. How great would it be to say, “It’s alright if we don’t get the right shot. We can always do it tomorrow!” I love it!
